Dead Sea Sparrow, a duo based out of Durham, NC, is the medley of folk and singer/songwriter like themes paired with a more soft-rock and at times ambient approach. With most songs evolution beginning on an acoustic guitar or piano, Dead Sea Sparrow tends to let the songs take what feels like their natural course. At times a single voice enough to convey the message and at other times using a layering of warm, shimmering sounds and haunting vocals. The universal theme always remaining and rooted in raw emotion and honesty.
